Jesuit scholastics from five continents and their unique cultures enhance Regis College’s outreach to young women and men from Canada’s diverse faith communities and cultures in the cosmopolitan heart of Toronto. These scholastics are not only the inheritors of the Jesuit tradition and values, but they are also collaborators in changing the future of the Church across Canada and the world. Armed with their education from Regis College, that is deeply rooted in the values of collaborative ministry, contextual theology, and a profound respect for human dignity and cultural diversity, these scholastics will participate in different forms of ministry throughout Canada and the world, such as social justice initiatives and reconciliation, and will offer the spiritual and religious resources of the Gospel with a sensitivity to the movements of the Word and Spirit already present in the lives of those they serve.

Founded in 1930 in downtown Toronto as the Jesuit Seminary / Collegium Christi Regis, and a founding member the Toronto School of Theology.
