The panelists will discuss multiple ways in which faith and interfaith reflection, dialogue, and cooperation can help a society to develop a sense of community in the midst of highly individualizing contexts:
– What are the tools for community-building at our disposal in cultural traditions as robust as Judaism, Islam, and Christianity?
– What should be our starting point as people of faith in responding to the isolating effects of an individualistic secularism?
– What have been our personal experiences of successful community-building within/across religious groups?
