Are you a student in the GTA? Are you a young professional (35 & under), looking for theological nourishment? If so, please join us for another Crossroads of Theology lecture at Regis College!
On Monday, March 25 at 5:15 p.m., Dr Christina Labriola will present a lecture “Beautiful God: The Incarnation and the Arts.” Drawing from the theological aesthetics of Hans Urs Von Balthasar, this talk will engage St. John Paul II’s “Letter to Artists,” along with works of art and music from the Christian tradition, to meditate upon the ways in which artistic beauty, through the reality of the Incarnation, can open us up to real encounters with the God who is the source of all beauty.
Following the lecture at 5:15, supper will be served (6:15 p.m.). This is an excellent opportunity to meet other like-minded young Catholics and fellow-students who are studying around the GTA. Don’t want to come alone? Bring a friend! The more the merrier!
Please make sure to register, so we can ensure that there is plenty of food to go around.
