The Msgr. John Mary Fraser Centre for Practical Theology will be having its sixth annual Scarboro Missions Lecture on Thursday February 15, 2024, at 7 pm, in St. Joseph’s Chapel at Regis College (100 Wellesley Street West). This year’s presenter is Professor Christian Krokus, and his lecture is titled, “One God, Two Religions: Ressourcement in Catholic-Muslim Dialogue.”
Prof. Krokus is a professor of theology/religious studies at the University of Scranton, the Jesuit university in Northeast Pennsylvania. His teaching and research focuses on Catholic encounter with Muslims and Islam. He is the author of The Theology of Louis Massignon: Islam, Christ, and the Church (CUA, 2017) and is currently co-preparing Christian de Chergé: Essential Writings (Orbis, 2024).
