Please note this lecture has been postponed until fall 2020Dr. Hinsdale will discuss one of her broad areas of research expertise – feminist theology and women’s involvement in theological education. She’ll also touch on the interesting history of women in theology right here at Regis College.

She received her STL from Regis College, and PhD from the University of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto. Her areas of specialization include ecclesiology, the theology of Edward Schillebeeckx, theological anthropology, and feminist theologies. Her current research centres on a pneumatological, narrative ecclesiology that employs ethnography and participatory action research, and Mary Magdalene as a resource for women’s ecclesial leadership.
