Sr. Gill Goulding, CJ invited to attend ‘Child Dignity in the Digital World’ World Congress in Rome

Regis College Associate Professor of Systematic Theology, Sr. Gill Goulding, CJ has been invited to attend the ‘Child Dignity in the Digital World’ World Congress, taking place in Rome from October 3 through October 6, 2017.

 

‘Child Dignity in the Digital World’, hosted by the Centre for Child Protection at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, is an historic milestone in setting the global agenda for the fight against online sexual child abuse and for child protection in the digital world.  This invitation-only Congress brings together distinguished academic experts, business leaders, leaders of civil society, high-level politicians and religious representatives from across the globe.

 

Sr. Gill has been invited to attend the Congress both as a systematic theologian and as one who has written in the area of abuse (c.f. Creative Perseverance: Sustaining Life-Giving Ministry in the Church), as well as for her work as an Associate of the Institute of Priestly Formation at Creighton University, Omaha, NE, USA.
