SUMMARY:Faith Issues Today: Jerusalem City of Destiny
DESCRIPTION:Jerusalem City of Destiny: The Centrality of Jerusalem in the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles\nPresented by Fr. Scott Lewis\, S.J. \nWhat was Luke’s attitude towards Jerusalem?  Was it a place of destiny where salvation was accomplished?  Luke’s narrative begins and ends in Jerusalem.  Even when Jesus is not in Jerusalem\, the focus is on getting there.  The sequel in the book of Acts continues in Jerusalem as the disciples begin their work of communicating the Good News.  This course will explore why the axis of both the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts is the City of Destiny – Jerusalem. \nThis 5-part Faith Issues Today lecture series will take place at 7:00 pm in the St. Joseph Chapel at Regis College on the following dates: \n\nTuesday April 17\, 2018\nTuesday\, April\, 24\, 2018\nTuesday\, May 1\, 2018\nTuesday\, May 8\, 2018\nTuesday\, May 15\, 2018\n\nEnrollment is limited. Please pre-register to guarantee your seat.  Enroll online (valid VISA/Mastercard required). Series fee: $125.00 \nREGISTER ONLINE
