Presented by Fr. Scott Lewis, S.J.
What was Luke’s attitude towards Jerusalem? Was it a place of destiny where salvation was accomplished? Luke’s narrative begins and ends in Jerusalem. Even when Jesus is not in Jerusalem, the focus is on getting there. The sequel in the book of Acts continues in Jerusalem as the disciples begin their work of communicating the Good News. This course will explore why the axis of both the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts is the City of Destiny – Jerusalem.
